Offered to Colt employees early in the run and factory-lettered to the buyer. Originally said to number 200, though observed serials point to roughly 300, per a Colt source. Per the factory letter's remarks, these represent the last production run of the M45A1 to carry the USMC roll mark. Nearly all serials come from the reserved range below 01001EGA and shipped out of sequence, which explains ship dates as late as May 2014. However, there are some outlier serials with employee-requested serial numbers that may not follow the nnnnnEGA pattern.
